Part-Time Temp Nanny

Compensation: $28 per hour
A warm and welcoming family in Long Island is seeking a proactive, organized, and engaging temporary nanny to care for their 1.5-year-old child for a one-month assignment beginning ASAP. The ideal candidate is nurturing, dependable, and experienced working with toddlers in a developmentally focused environment. A Montessori background is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for a 1.5-year-old toddler
- Plan age-appropriate, engaging activities that encourage development and independence
- Maintain an organized and tidy play and child-related environment
- Support routines including snacks, diapering, and transitions
- Encourage a calm, positive, and structured environment
Ideal Candidate
- Prior toddler experience required
- Montessori experience or background strongly preferred
- Proactive, organized, and self-directed
- Warm, reliable, and energetic
- Comfortable collaborating with parents and adapting to the family’s routine
