Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 40 hours per week

Compensation

Local Candidates (36–40 hrs/week):

• $60.00 per hour

Travel Candidates (36–40 hrs/week):

• Weekly Gross: $2,494.00 (36 hrs) / $2,614.00 (40 hrs)
• Taxable Base Rate: $30.00 per hour
• Lodging, Meals & Incidentals Stipend: $1,414.00 per week

About the Role

NCW Staffing is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week assignment at a healthcare facility in Auburn, NY. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling and the chance to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure patient safety
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs
• Assist during surgical procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols

Requirements

• Active New York State RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NIHSS certification required at time of submission
• 6 CEUs in stroke-related topics prior to start date
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience preferred
• Orthopedic (Ortho) experience required
• On-call availability required

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience
