Key Job Details – Pediatric Cardiac Care RN

• Location: Rochester, NY 14642 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Pediatric Cardiac Care ICU (PCCC)
• Assignment Length: 17 weeks (September 15, 2025 – January 10, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights), including weekends, holidays, and on-call/callback as needed
• Employment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,130 - $2,190

Pediatric RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Pediatric RN in a cardiac care or pediatric ICU setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – American Heart Association
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification – American Heart Association
• Strong clinical skills in pediatric cardiac care and ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment

Pediatric Cardiac Care RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with complex and rare congenital cardiac disorders
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide advanced diagnosis, medical/surgical treatment, and long-term follow-up care
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and manage advanced cardiac equipment in a pediatric ICU setting
• Participate in rotating shift schedules, including weekends, holidays, and on-call/callback duties as required
• Serve as charge nurse as needed and mentor less experienced nursing staff
