Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) in Utica, NY. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to ED patients, including assessment, triage, monitoring, and ongoing evaluation of condition
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and support airway and respiratory care as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, transport teams, ancillary staff, and case management to coordinate patient care
- Prepare and assist with procedures, monitor for adverse events, and respond to changes in patient status
- Document care accurately in the EPIC EMR and communicate updates to the team
- Educate patients and families and ensure safety and quality of care during rapid ED turnover

Requirements
- Active New York RN license with NURSYS verification
- Minimum 2 years ED experience; pediatric exposure; travel experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS; TNCC required to be in hand
- EPIC EMR experience
- Ability to float to other ED areas as needed in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
