Job Description

Shalom’s Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and dependable Staff Pharmacist to manage day-to-day pharmacy operations in a busy community setting. This role includes leadership responsibilities, workflow oversight, patient counseling, regulatory compliance, team coordination, and support of business growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately
• Provide patient counseling and drug therapy expertise
• Oversee daily workflow, safety, compliance, and audit readiness
• Supervise and support pharmacy staff
• Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relations
• Work with third-party payers, prior authorizations, and insurance claims
• Deliver clinical services (immunizations, MTM, etc.)

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted New York Pharmacist License (Required)
• Ability to work independently and lead a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Multilingual preferred (Russian, Hebrew, Spanish, etc.)
• Immunization certification preferred (or willingness to obtain
