We’re seeking a motivated Litigation Paralegal to join a busy, collaborative law team in Scarsdale, NY, an attractive and convenient location with a vibrant community and excellent amenities.

About the Role

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will support multiple senior attorneys by preparing, filing, and coordinating legal documents, managing busy calendars, maintaining case files, and assisting with depositions and court proceedings. This role combines hands-on legal work with administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced but collegial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as primary paralegal for multiple senior litigation attorneys and handle all paralegal work on their cases.

• Finalize, format, file, and serve legal documents; prepare tables of contents and authorities.

• E-file in federal and state courts, prepare courtesy copies, and assist with ADR proceedings.

• Arrange depositions and assist with preparation, including exhibits and binders.

• Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, and case files—both physical and electronic.

• Prepare simple legal documents using firm templates (subpoenas, discovery demands, court forms).

• Assist with document productions, Bates stamping, and conflict checks.

• Answer firm phones and manage incoming mail as needed.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience.

• Advanced MS Word skills.

• Experience e-filing in NY/NJ state and federal courts; PA courts a plus.

• Familiarity with law firm CRM/document management/time entry systems (NetDocs and Finance Core a plus).

• Proficiency with Westlaw research and cite-checking.

• Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

• Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to work overtime as needed.
