Food & Beverage Manager
ABOUT THE ROLE
We seek leaders who have a passion for hospitality. As Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day food and beverage operations at Hotel Nyack, including restaurant, beverage, and room service operations. You will be responsible for maintaining product and service quality, supporting budgets and forecasts, and selecting, training, and developing your team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead efficient and high-quality food and beverage operations across all outlets
- Achieve departmental revenue and profitability goals while managing labor and food costs
- Implement service strategies and initiatives in line with Company and Brand standards
- Recruit, train, and develop departmental staff; provide exemplary performance for your team to follow
- Respond to customer feedback, trends, and needs to ensure a quality guest experience
- Support the development and execution of menus, promotions, and presentations to drive in-house and local market sales
- Manage the maintenance and sanitation of all food and beverage areas and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitary, federal, state, and local regulations
- Align closely with the General Manager and maintain professionalism at all times
- Build strong relationships with guests and internal partners to deliver exceptional service
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years of hotel food and beverage management experience
- Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Energetic, proactive, and solutions-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to build and motivate a team
- Service-oriented mindset with a commitment to exceeding guest expectations
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, cost controls, and scheduling
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of personnel records and company data
