Speech Language Pathologist Independent Clinician

_ PEDIATRIC SPEECH-LANGUAGE THERAPY _

Communicate Better is a growing speech-language therapy practice located at MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NY. We are seeking monolingual and bilingual speech-language pathologists to join our team of independent clinicians committed to best practices. We are a play based and literacy based practice that promotes application of strong theoretical frameworks of speech and language acquisition in combination of Evidence Based Practice (EBP) and approaches.

The clinician will be able tobuild a part time or full time caseload within days in the office location and/or nearby private and public schools (D13, 15, 20). We receive weekly referrals from families, the professional community and from preschool and elementary schools. We treat a variety of communication delays disorders including: Specific language impairments, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Speech sound disorders (articulation and phonological disorders), Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Motor Speech disorders (Pediatric Dysarthria), Oral motor deficits affecting speech and feeding skills.

Opportunities are also available for conducting monolingual and bilingual initial evaluations received monthly.

Strong CFYs are encouraged to apply and will receive quality supervision from ASHA-certified SLPs with experience in clinical supervision. Our reflective supervision model supports learning and professional growth through the application of evidence-based practices (EBPs) and responsiveness to individual therapy approaches. We offer highly competitive fees for both SLPs and CFs.

Requirements:

• New York State Speech-Language Pathology License (SLPs)
• Completed Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CFs)
• TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) or TSHH (Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped) certification
• Bilingual Extension and/or Bilingual Education Assessment (BEA), if applicable

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: Pay SLP, CCC: $75.00 - $90.00 per hour (1099) depending level of experience

Pay SLP, CFY $ 65.00 - 70.00 per hour (1099)
