Solid Waste Engineer
Partner Plus are delighted to be retained by a global leading Environmental Consulting firm for a Solid Waste Engineer to join their growing consulting team. This is an exciting chance to work on a wide variety of solid waste infrastructure projects—from concept and design through construction and operations—supporting both public and private sector clients.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll:
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to deliver successful projects and programs.
- Conduct evaluations and feasibility studies for solid waste and organics management.
- Plan, design, permit, and support construction of facilities including:
- Landfill cells and closures
- Landfill gas management and reuse systems
- Composting facilities
- Transfer stations
- Convenience centers
- Integrated facility campuses
- Provide ongoing operational support for solid waste infrastructure.
- Contribute to other environmental and civil engineering projects as needed.
- Grow your technical expertise and leadership skills in a supportive, team-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- PE license, or EIT on track to obtain licensure.
- At least 5 years of experience in environmental infrastructure design, with a focus on solid waste, landfills, or organics management.
- (Preferred) Experience with construction-phase services.
- A valid driver’s license with ability to pass a motor vehicle records check.
