Legal Associate / business developement- Immigration Law Firm ( Bilingual in Hindi Punjabi + English )

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk / Business developement manager to join our dynamic immigration law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal or Business developement manager In Immigration looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a passion for helping clients navigate complex immigration matters.

Experience: 3+ years needed

Compensation: 19$ - 20$ per hour

Immediate joiner required.

Office location: 104-05 Liberty Ave, Ozone Park, NY 11417, United States

Responsibilities :

  • Client Communication & Support: Empathetically engage with clients to provide clear case updates, gather necessary information, and build strong relationships through responsive service.
  • Business developemet- Clinets outreach , clients consultation
  • Case Management & Opening: Efficiently manage new client intake, accurately open cases, and meticulously organize all client files to ensure accessibility.
  • Document Preparation & Filing: Draft diverse immigration forms and petitions, meticulously prepare supporting evidence, and assist with filing applications to relevant government agencies.
  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research on immigration laws and precedents, then concisely summarize findings for attorney review.
  • Marketing & Business Development: Actively contribute to firm growth by participating in marketing initiatives, promoting services, and representing the firm at community events.
  • Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative assistance to attorneys, including scheduling, calendar management, meeting organization, and billing support.

Qualifications :

  • Education: Paralegal Certificate or Bachelors Degree required.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Hindi Punjabi (mandatory ) and English (written and spoken) is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Sales/Marketing Acumen: Proven ability to contribute to marketing and sales efforts, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new legal software.
