Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations across general, breast, and vascular modalities; optimize and acquire diagnostic-quality images
- Accurately document patient information and imaging data; label and store images per protocol
- Communicate findings to the radiologist and ordering physician; participate in final interpretation discussions as appropriate
- Maintain patient data confidentiality and organize records across film, digital, and other formats
- Inform and educate patients about procedures; ensure comfort and safety during exams
- Manage exam scheduling within unit needs; operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment with minimal supervision after orientation

Requirements
- Completion of training from an approved ultrasound program
- Minimum three (3) years of varied ultrasound experience, including general, breast, and vascular
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- ARDMS certification preferred (or equivalent registered specialization)
- Ability to perform duties in a hospital setting; available for Monday–Friday daytime hours with on-call as needed and willingness to float to a nearby facility
