Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Boarder Profession: RN Med/Surg Specialty: ER RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg experience License: NYS RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (preferred but not required) Must-Have: - NYS RN License - Two years of Med/Surg experience - Telemetry experience Description: This is a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department that manages a high volume of patient visits annually. It serves as one of the busiest trauma centers in the area. The role involves treating a diverse patient population with a wide variety of diagnoses. The focus will exclusively be on the care of Med/Surg boarder patients within the Emergency Department. Nurses will maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 with assistive personnel available. No prior Emergency Department experience is required. Candidates must possess a valid NYS RN license and have telemetry experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory. NIHSS certification is preferred but not mandatory. About Cynet Health
