Job Type Regular Company Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department Mobile CT Unit Time Type Part time Weekly Hours 20 Fte 0.5 Shift First Shift (United States of America) Summary Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional radiographs of patient’s body for diagnostic purposes; schedules and cares for patients while assisting the radiologist to ensure optimal results. The starting base hourly pay for this position is $32.99 and this will include an additional geographic differential pay of $5.27. This position can also include a full comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications Required Education and Experience License and Certification Requirement- License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of New York.
- Registration Certification for Contrast Injection in the State of New York.
- Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist; or
- Equivalent experience gained by the completion of technical training as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, an approved school or training institution may be substituted for the above experience requirement.
- As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the Registration Certification for Contrast Injection in the State of New York within six (6) months of their appointment to this title.
- As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within ninety (90) days of their appointment to this title.
- Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
