Responsibilities

Performs all secretarial duties including typing, copying, filing, messages and desktop publishing.

All correspondence is created and responded to in a complete and timely manner.

Mail sorted and distributed upon receipt.

Menu’s are created and printed 48 hours in advance.

Files are maintained in an easy to access manner and updated regularly.

Maintains and updates resident menu files in Geri-Menu. Prints meal tickets, tallies and nourishment labels.

Meal tickets are printed based on food preference taken off of the weekly menu filled out by the resident.

Diet change order forms are retrieved from nursing unit’s daily and changes updated in Geri-Menu in a timely fashion.

Processes diet cards and labels as needed.

Verifies and edits timecards or schedules to record absences, vacation in preparation for bi-weekly payroll processing.

Maintain and excellent level of knowledge of Kronos functionality.

Late and Absence reports/audits are conducted on a bi-weekly basis.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

1 to 2 years experience in a clerical position requiring strong computer and customer service skills. Timekeeper knowledge in healthcare.

Proficient Microsoft word, excel, outlook PowerPoint and e-mail skills.

Must be familiar with general office equipment.
