Soliant Education is hiring a certified Earth Science Teacher for a high school caseload in Cortland, NY. This is a full-time position beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year.
Responsibilities:

Deliver Earth Science instruction aligned with NYS learning standards

Create lesson plans that support student engagement and understanding
-
Evaluate student performance and adjust instruction as needed
-
Collaborate with school staff and participate in professional development
-
Maintain accurate records of student progress
Requirements:
-
Current New York State Earth Science Certification
-
Bachelors degree or higher in Earth Science or a related field
-
Previous experience at the high school level preferred
-
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
