Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced ICU RN for a travel assignment in Auburn, New York. This role is perfect for a Registered Nurse with a background in intensive care who is looking for a dynamic work environment. Key Responsibilities of the ICU RN
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Arterial and central line care/management
- Continuous IV sedation and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
- BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance
- Care of ventilated patients
- Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Suctioning (ETT, NT)
- Following isolation precautions/PPE protocols
Requirements of the ICU RN
- Current NY License in hand
- 2+ years of recent ICU experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Proficient in AllScripts EMR
