What You Will Do

• Wire Room & Reel Management: Pull, measure, cut, and spool commercial and industrial electrical wire/cable to precise contractor specifications using mechanical and automated wire-cutting equipment.

• Inventory & Bay Maintenance: Hang reels, organize wire racks, monitor stock levels, and maintain an exceptionally clean, safe, and efficient wire bay.

• Order Fulfillment: Ensure all scheduled wire cuts and custom spools are accurately completed before end-of-day dispatch to meet tight morning contractor delivery deadlines.

• Warehouse & Logistics Support: Assist with staging orders, loading/unloading delivery trucks, and supporting the counter sales team during peak morning rushes.

• Safety & Execution: Maintain a level-headed, calm composure during fast-paced rush hours while adhering strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols.

What We Are Looking For

• Electrical Supply Experience: Prior experience working in a wire bay, warehouse, or counter role at an electrical supply distributor or wholesale electrical distributor is highly preferred.

• Wire & Cable Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial and industrial wire types, gauges, insulation, and spooling machinery.

• Reliability & Schedule Flexibility: Must be an early riser capable of consistently starting at 6:30 AM and staying until daily wire cuts and stage orders are completed.

• Organization & Detail: Self-motivated, organized, and meticulous about keeping reels, tags, and work areas structured.

• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and handle heavy reels and spools safely.
