Accounting Manager

We’re seeking a Full‑Time Accounting Manager who brings both precision and purpose to their work, so that every dollar fuels dignity, opportunity and care. This is more than a numbers role; it’s a chance to make a real impact behind the scenes. The pay range for the position is $70,000 - $75,000. What You’ll Do
- Manage the day‑to‑day accounting operations, including oversight of AP/AR, purchasing and payroll
- Responsible for general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation for month-end and year-end close
- Prepare monthly financial statements plus annual operating and capital budgets
- Lead the annual audit and oversee the preparation of the Consolidated Fiscal Report (CFR)
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, grants, and regulatory requirements
- Strengthen internal controls and continuously improve financial processes
- Partner with leadership to support strategic decision‑making
- Supervise 4 accounting staff and support the Chief Financial Officer
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or business related field, required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience; nonprofit experience strongly preferred
- Minimum 2 years of direct supervisory experience
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture
