As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping our user experience, building intuitive, performant, and scalable web applications that power our financial products. You’ll work closely with design, product, and backend teams to deliver seamless and engaging interfaces. What You'll Do

  • Design, Build, and Scale – Own the frontend experience end-to-end, developing high-quality, performant, and accessible interfaces using TypeScript and React.

  • Greenfield Development – Lead the creation of new features and products from scratch, making foundational decisions on component architecture, state management, and design systems.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data teams to deliver cohesive and impactful user experiences.

  • Technical Leadership – Guide the team in frontend best practices, code reviews, performance optimization, and testing strategies.

  • Customer-Centric Innovation – Build intuitive and delightful experiences that simplify complex financial processes for users.

  • Performance and Accessibility – Ensure applications are fast, responsive, and accessible to all users, meeting modern web standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience building and scaling modern frontend applications.

  • Expertise in TypeScript and frontend frameworks like React, including hooks, state management, and component-driven architecture.

  • Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization, accessibility (a11y), and responsive design principles.

  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to product and design discussions.

  • Passion for building user-first products and solving complex UX challenges with clean, maintainable code.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment with a bias toward action and ownership.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with fintech products, such as lending, credit cards, or payments.

  • Familiarity with design systems and tools like Figma or Storybook.

  • Understanding of backend concepts to collaborate effectively with full-stack teams.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total compensation and rewards package at Credit Genie. You may also be eligible to participate in the bonus and equity programs.
