Job responsibilities:
- Lead the video editing team in producing high-quality video content for Bloomberg's various platforms.
- Collaborate with producers, directors, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver compelling visual narratives.
- Oversee the entire post-production process, including editing, color correction, sound design, and final delivery.
- Ensure all video content aligns with Bloomberg's brand standards and editorial guidelines.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing software, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve the quality of content.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior video editors, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Work closely with the graphics team to integrate visual effects and animations into video projects.

Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a news or media environment.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging video content.
- Experience with color grading and sound design is a plus.
