Reserve Cut Broad Street is hiring an experienced Maître D' with exceptional leadership, hospitality, and organizational skills to help maintain the highest standards of service and professionalism.
Position Summary

The Maître d' serves as the face of the restaurant, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and an exceptional dining experience from arrival to departure. This role oversees the flow of the dining room, manages reservations and seating, coordinates with management and the service team, and ensures seamless communication between the front and back of house. The ideal candidate is poised under pressure, highly organized, and passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality in a fast-paced, upscale environment.

• Welcome and greet guests with professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality.
• Manage reservations through Resy while maximizing seating efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee the flow of the dining room, balancing reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists.
• Coordinate closely with teams -- managers, FOH & BOH, to ensure smooth service.
• Monitor table status and optimize seating arrangements throughout service.
• Handle guest requests, special occasions, VIP guests, and service recovery with professionalism and discretion.
• Maintain clear communication with the service team regarding reservations, timing, and special accommodations.
• Answer incoming phone calls, assist guests with reservations, and provide accurate information about the restaurant and menu offerings.
• Ensure the host stand, entrance, and reception area remain clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Train, mentor, and support hosts to maintain the restaurant's service standards.
• Assist management with opening and closing responsibilities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maître d', Lead Host, or similar leadership role in a high-volume, upscale restaurant.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and exceeding expectations.
• Experience with reservation platforms such as Resy.
• Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Full-time flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must maintain a polished, professional, and elegant appearance that represents the Reserve Cut brand.
• Business professional attire and proper grooming are required while on duty.
• Must present a confident, welcoming, and professional demeanor at all times.
