Analyst
ExodusPoint Capital Management, LP has an opening for an Analyst in New York, NY. This is a hybrid position; employee must work in the New York, NY office 4 days a week; the remaining day can work remotely within the U.S. Conduct rigorous fundamental research, financial modeling and due diligence on sector specific companies to support investment decisions. Work closely with Portfolio Manager to contribute to the investment process, provide insights and recommendations on potential investment opportunities. Build and maintain detailed company models as directed by the Portfolio Manager. Utilize alternative data sets and advanced analytical methods to enhance the research process and support data-driven decision-making. Participate in meetings with company management, sell-side analysts, and industry experts. Attend conferences and industry events to gain further financial modeling skills on equity research, investment banking, hedge fund and related. Up to one national travel per year to attend a conference. Must possess at least a bachelors degree or its equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive experience as an Investment Analyst or related role in equity research, investment banking, or a hedge fund. Must also possess the following: at least five years of experience with financial modeling; at least five years of experience with fundamental equity research and analysis; at least five years of experience with alternative data and/or proprietary research; at least five years of experience with investment memo (or similar) report preparation; and at least five years of experience in a fast-paced public equities.
