Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service & Research Communicator for a temporary-to-permanent opportunity in Buffalo, NY. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people, asking structured questions, and capturing information accurately in a fast-paced call center environment.

As a Customer Service & Research Communicator, you will make outbound calls to customers and prospects, conduct phone interviews and surveys, and document responses with accuracy and professionalism. Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound customer service and research calls to customers, prospects, or survey participants.
- Conduct structured phone interviews and guide callers through survey questions.
- Capture, enter, and document customer responses accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and positive phone presence during every interaction.
- Follow call scripts, structured questions, and internal processes to ensure consistent data collection.
- Support additional customer outreach, administrative, or call center tasks as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Compensation: $18 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Status: Temporary-to-permanent.
- Location: Buffalo, NY.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Conduct outbound customer service and research calls.
- Complete structured phone interviews and surveys.
- Capture and document customer responses accurately.
- Provide professional, courteous communication throughout each call.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in customer service, call center, telemarketing, retail, restaurant, or a similar customer-facing role preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, confident phone presence.
- Comfortable making frequent outbound calls throughout the day.
- Strong computer navigation skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to stay organized, follow call scripts or structured questions, and enter information accurately.
- Professional, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous call center or outbound calling experience.
- Experience conducting surveys, research interviews, telemarketing calls, or customer outreach.
- Familiarity with basic data entry, CRM systems, or call tracking tools.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to keep conversations focused and productive.
