Customer Care Representative

Regular, Full Time

Buffalo, New York

Position pays based on experience, ranges from $19-$24/HR

Join the DiVal Safety Equipment team in our Buffalo, NY headquarters as a member of our fast paced and dynamic team. The focus of this position is to actively engage and provide superior service to our external and internal customers. In this position you will be the first point of contact for DiVal's outside sales team's customers, delivering the highest level of proactive customer service while maintaining workflow.

Duties and Responsibilities -

• Proactively make and return calls specific to your Sales Rep's territory efficiently and professionally, making customer centric decisions to keep the customer for life
• Proactively update/increase product knowledge
• Promote company events and services through all points of contact with your customers
• Work hand-in-hand with outside sales and Field Channel Managers to deliver exceptional sales success
• Process customer orders, returns, exchanges and contract pricing through the mainframe (AS400) system
• Enter sales quotes as requested by customer within 2 hours of receiving the request

Skills and Requirements -

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational and time management skills a must
• Strong decision making and analytical abilities
• Microsoft Office and CRM experience a plus
• Desire to Serve
• Capable of Smiling through the Telephone
• High School diploma / GED equivalent with 1+ years prior sales/customer service preferred
• The ability to work 5 days a week, Mon.-Fri., 8:30-5pm.
