About the Role

We are looking for a technically fluent and data-obsessed Technical Product Manager to join our growing team. This role is focused on the integrity of our signal sources, modeling, and resultant data outputs that fuel our core product—ensuring that the retail sales estimates we generate are reliable, explainable, and continuously improving.

You will collaborate with engineering, data science, and other stakeholders to monitor data integrity, identify issues, and implement solutions. You will use your analytical skills to understand complex data concepts, create and interpret data visualizations, and ensure the reliability of the data that drives our platform.

This is a foundational role for our data integrity efforts—at the intersection of product management, analytics, and data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Integrity: Monitor data accuracy, identify potential issues, and implement detection and tracking mechanisms to maintain data integrity.
• Root Cause Analysis: Proactively detect issues in data pipelines and collaborate with technical teams to resolve them before client impact.
• Feature-Level Prioritization: Partner with data engineering and data science teams to prioritize new data sourcing, transformation, and feature improvements.
• Signal Pipeline Understanding: Build a deep understanding of signal source diversity for consumer behavior and retail sales activity, ingestion methods (APIs, feeds, scraping, etc.), and their downstream consequences.
• Cross-Functional Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership, marketing & sales, and internal technical leads to align on roadmap priorities and data-driven initiatives.
• Documentation & Communication: Translate analytical insights and business objectives into clear product requirements and business impact narratives.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3–5+ years in a technical role, ideally focusing on data management, analytics, or data-driven products.
• Data Focus: Experience with data integrity, data accuracy monitoring, and data signal analysis.
• Analytical Skills: Strong grounding in analytics, statistics, and a proven ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and market-facing teams.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to run complex diagnostic investigations and assessments of ML model outputs (e.g., confusion matrix) without constant guidance.
• Tools Expertise: Proficient with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI. Proficiency with SQL and Python a significant plus.
