Finish Carpenter - Kitchen and Bathroom

Our client that specializes in kitchen and bathroom renovations is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Kitchen and Bathroom Lead Finisher.

As the Lead Finisher, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of finishing work in kitchen and bathroom projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, and timely project completion. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate the finishing phase of kitchen, bathroom, and basement remodeling projects from start to finish.
Collaborate with the project manager and other team members to develop a detailed project timeline and ensure timely completion.
Oversee the installation and finishing of cabinetry, countertops, backsplashes, tiles, flooring, fixtures o
Manage and maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools & materials are properly stored. o
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations on all job sites.
Train and supervise junior finishers and provide guidance and support when needed.
Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues that may arise during the finishing phase.
Maintain a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the project.
Communicate effectively with clients and managers, addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding the finishing process.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and techniques relevant to remodeling.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a finish carpenter or in a similar role, with a focus on kitchen & bath renovations.
Strong knowledge of various finishing techniques, materials, and tools.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
Physical stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
