Job Description

Safeguard Security Group is seeking experienced and professional Armed Security Guards to staff static access-control posts and conduct facility and perimeter roving patrols . Officers will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while enforcing site policies and procedures through a strong, visible security presence.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Staff static access-control and facility roving posts
• Conduct regular foot patrols and perimeter (printer) walks
• Maintain a highly visible security presence , including remaining outdoors as required
• Verify employee identification and badges
• Sign in and screen visitors
• Monitor premises and report suspicious activity
• Enforce site policies, procedures, and post orders
• Maintain a professional, alert, and deterrent presence at all times
• Perform additional duties as directed by management

Required Qualifications

• Valid New York State Armed Security Guard License
• Minimum of three (3) years of armed security experience
• Military Police, Law Enforcement, or Corrections experience strongly preferred

Additional Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• U.S. Citizen
• High school diploma or GED
• Clean criminal and credit history
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written post orders and instructions
• Flexible availability, including weekends and varying shifts

Schedule & Pay

• Pay Rate: $28.00- $ 35 per hour
• Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time
