Alternatives FCU is seeking a Compliance and Transaction Specialist to join our Finance Team. Alternatives is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) credit union serving Tompkins and surrounding counties, and is proud to find solutions for those left behind by the mainstream financial institutions. The Compliance and Transaction Specialist will be responsible for all Bank Secrecy Act related duties, including Currency Transaction Reports, Suspicious Activity Reports, and Enhanced Due Diligence to ensure ongoing compliance with all regulatory requirements. In addition, this role will assist the department with member related functions, such as wire transfers, stop payments, abandoned accounts and automatic transfers. The ideal candidate will have one year experience in customer service and one year experience in the financial industry.
