Assistant Project Manager
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our construction projects from the field to the office. This role is ideal for someone with construction experience who is also strong in office coordination, invoicing, and AIA documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Manager with day-to-day project operations
- Support jobsite coordination with subcontractors and vendors
- Track schedules, materials, and project documentation
- Prepare and process subcontractor and vendor invoices
- Create and manage AIA pay applications (G702 / G703)
- Enter and track costs and invoices using QuickBooks
- Assist with change orders, budget tracking, and progress billing
- Maintain organized records including contracts, lien waivers, and approvals
- Communicate with accounting, owners, and project team
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction (field or office)
- Knowledge of construction invoicing and AIA billing formats
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Preferred
- Assistant PM or Project Coordinator experience
- Familiarity with residential or commercial construction
- Experience working with general contractors
