Employee Training & Development Manager
Mazza is seeking an Employee Training & Development Manager that will Design, Implement, and Manage a comprehensive Professional Development Plan for all employees within the organization. This position focuses on enhancing technical proficiency, professional skills, safety compliance, and leadership development across all departments (including field service technicians, sales, engineering, and administrative staff).
Primary Skills and Responsibilities include:
Personnel and Human Resources - Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
Evaluation & Measurement: Expertise in designing and implementing training evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness and business impact of training programs on performance and company metrics.
Learning Technology Proficiency: Experience utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS) for course deployment, tracking, reporting, and management of training records and compliance documentation. Facilitation & Presentation: Strong platform and virtual facilitation skills, with the ability to manage diverse groups of learners (technical, non-technical, all levels) and maintain an engaging, professional learning environment. Implement new innovative learning and training techniques.Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary for collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs), presenting to leadership, and providing coaching to employees. Identify “best trainer” for the job and facilitate the appropriate training.
HVAC Industry Acumen: Foundational understanding of the commercial-industrial HVAC sector, including the various roles, safety regulations, and technical skills required, to ensure training content is relevant and credible. This position will require occasional travel to job sites within the New York counties of: Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, Steuben, Erie, Wyoming, Livingston, Ontario, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, and Monroe; and the Pennsylvania counties of: Erie, Warren, McKean, Potter, Crawford, Mercer, Venango, Forest, Clarion, Elk, Jefferson, Cameron, and Clearfield. EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Adult Education, or equivalent experience and qualifications..Recommended Jobs
