Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday (40 hours/week), primarily during regular business hours with flexibility for occasional weekends or holidays.

About the Family
A private family in Manhattan, NY (Flat Iron District) is seeking a dedicated and professional Housekeeper to join their household & housekeeping team. They value discretion, reliability, and someone who is seeking a long-term position.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of general housekeeping and deep cleaning, including museum-quality cleaning standards.
• Follow cleaning checklists to maintain all interior and exterior areas to the highest standard.
• Make beds, change linens, wash, dry, fold, and iron clothing and household linens.
• Organize closets, pantries, and storage areas.
• Maintain inventories and assist with stocking household items.
• Support event preparation and household projects as needed.
• Other duties and special requests as assigned by the family or Lead Housekeeper.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a private household with excellent references
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
• Willingness to work occasionally on weekends or holidays
• ​​​​​​​Comfort with smartphones and basic technology for household operations
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
• Legal to work in the United States
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and reliable transportation

Compensation & Benefits:

• $36–$44 per hour, depending on experience
