Job Description

We are looking to hire a Vice President to join our Vertical Software, Data and Analytics Investment Banking team in New York. The Vice President is responsible for providing structure, marketing and execution activities supporting senior members of the team. May on a rotational basis provide transactional, statistical analysis and executional support to the team.

Responsibilities

• Develop transaction ideas and discuss appropriate context with senior coverage team members
  
• Develop revenue in all product areas and execute transactions
  
• Demonstrate relevant market / industry / product knowledge
  
• Structure and deliver high impact presentations
  
• Maintain client relationships and keep them informed as deals progress
  
• Keep senior M&A and coverage officers informed as deals progress/issues arise
  
• Liaise and/or interact with clients at all levels (CFO, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, etc.)
  
• Liaise with clients primarily at CEO and CFO level
  
• Execute on deals, generating or contributing to increases in revenue levels
  
• Direct, train, and develop team members to enable them to meet challenges, department objectives and achieve full potential
  
• Establish an environment that promotes respect for individual employee and adheres to the policies and guidelines of the Bank
  
• Maintain confidentiality of client information
  
• Accountable for providing expertise and support to senior coverage team members in execution of transactions and deal structure by providing expertise and knowledge of relevant markets/industries/products
  
• Develop recommendations/ideas for transactions and revenue generation, structure/deliver presentations, and manage deals/transactions as they progress/issues arise (escalating and keeping senior coverage officers informed as required)
  
• Liaise and maintain client relationships
  
• Act as an experienced specialist for an assigned business or portfolio; role requires deep knowledge
  

Education & Experience

• Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics
  
• Series 7, 79 and 63 licenses
  
• 5-7 Years of related experience
