Office manager

Roboflow
New York, NY

Who We Are

Our mission is to make the world programmable. Sight is one of the key ways we understand the world, and soon this will be true for the software we use, too.

We’re building the tools, community, and resources needed to make the world programmable with artificial intelligence. Roboflow simplifies building and using computer vision models. Today, over 1M+ developers, including those from half the Fortune 100, use Roboflow’s machine learning open-source and hosted tools. That includes counting cells to accelerate cancer research, improving construction-site safety, digitizing floor plans, preserving coral-reef populations, guiding drone flight, and much more.

Our team is small relative to our impact, and we believe our user success is our success (not the inverse). A team member once said: “Roboflow is a company full of giant brains and tiny egos.” We find software has a multiplier effect on all roles (not just product and engineering), so Roboflow employs builders across design, sales, customer support, marketing, and beyond.

We’re backed by some of the best investors in the world, including Google Ventures, Y Combinator, Craft Ventures, Sam Altman, and Lachy Groom, and have raised over $63 million to date.

What We’re Looking For

Our office hubs — starting in New York City and San Francisco — are becoming central to how our distributed team connects and creates, and we’re opening the doors to our biggest space yet — a brand new 7,000 sq ft hub in the heart of Flatiron. As our first Office Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our NYC Hub: part operations pro, part experience designer, and part community builder.

Roboflow’s hubs have quickly become one of the most-loved parts of our culture. They’re places for raccoons (our affectionate nickname for teammates) to gather, create, and collaborate IRL. As our first New York Office Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of this new hub and the architect of how it comes to life. You’ll own the setup, operations, and day-to-day rhythm of the space — ensuring it runs seamlessly, feels inspiring, and reflects our values.

You’ll own every detail that makes the office an inspiring, functional, and fun place to work — from space operations and vendor management to events, culture moments, and team onboarding. You’ll also partner closely with our People and Operations teams to shape how we scale our hubs as we grow across the world.

You’ll also help shape the playbook for how we open future offices as we continue to grow. This is an opportunity to build something foundational — to take a brand-new flagship space and make it hum with energy, warmth, and purpose.

This role reports to Kate Wagner, Head of Operations, and works closely with the People Ops, Finance, and Leadership teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and elevate daily operations for Roboflow’s New York City Hub — facilities, vendors, supplies, space design, and culture.

  • Plan and host hub events and local team gatherings.

  • Partner with People Ops on onboarding logistics, anniversary gifts, and visitor coordination.

  • Act as the point of contact for building management, service providers, and vendors.

  • Support broader operational projects (office buildouts, insurance renewals, procurement, inventory).

  • Contribute to Roboflow’s Hub Playbook as we expand into new cities and countries.

  • Help build an office environment that reflects our values: Default to Open, Ship Fast, and Be Full-Stack.

Who You Are

You’re an operations-minded office manager who loves building systems that make teams thrive. You’re creative, organized, and energized by making things work beautifully behind the scenes. You have the range to manage vendors in the morning and plan an event by afternoon — all while making sure everyone has a working HDMI cable and a smile.

Skills & Experience

  • 1–5 years of experience in office management, operations, or hospitality at a fast-paced or startup environment

  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and execute across multiple workstreams

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills; you make people feel seen and supported

  • Experience managing vendors, budgets, and facilities logistics

  • Tech-savvy: comfortable with Slack, Notion, G-Suite, Ramp, Carta, and similar tools

  • Bias toward action — you fix problems before they’re even noticed

  • Bonus: experience opening new offices or supporting multi-hub operations

Where You’ll Work

You’ll work primarily from our new New York City Hub in Flatiron — the center of Roboflow’s growing East Coast presence. Our hubs are where collaboration, creativity, and connection collide. You’ll play a key role in defining how we build, open, and run inspiring physical spaces as Roboflow continues expanding globally.

What You’ll Receive

Target Compensation: $85,000–$100,000 base (depending on experience)
Equity: Ownership in Roboflow so we all share in our success

Perks & Benefits

  • $4,000 / year travel stipend — work anywhere, anytime, alongside teammates

  • $350 / month productivity stipend for co-working, internet, or home setup

  • Up to 100% health insurance coverage for you and your family

  • Flexible schedule and hybrid work environment

  • Unlimited PTO (2-week minimum encouraged)

  • 12 weeks parental leave

  • Opportunities to grow into a Hub Operations leadership role as we open new offices worldwide

Interview Process (~5 hours total)

Introduction Phase

  • [30 min] Meet with Kate Wagner (Head of Operations)

  • [30 min] Chat with People Operations, Brianna Byun

Team Interview Phase

  • [45 min] Scenario: “Design a hub event” or “solve an office challenge”

  • [60 min] Follow-up with Kate to discuss your 30/60/90 plan
