Your future role

We have multiple shifts available

The hourly range of the postion is $20.00 to $23.75 per hour based on skills, knowledge, experience and which shift you are asigned.

Take on a new challenge and apply your painting expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to the Painting Team Leader, and work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates. You’ll shape the foundation of painting for rail by influencing the quality and aesthetics of trains and digital mobility systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, taking care of paint preparation, application, and repair on rail vehicles. You’ll specifically take care of performing acceptable repairs on applied coatings, maintaining paint process records, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

• Expertise on painting issues/incident resolution
• Proposed technical solutions
• Quality, on-time deliverables

All about you

• Completion of a Vocational course in Auto Body Repair or similar
• 2 years’ experience working at an Auto Body Shop or Industrial Paint Shop
• Willingness to learn painting methods and work from heights
• Ability to pass required respiratory testing and wear personal protective equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and operate required tools and machinery
• Physical ability to maneuver/push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds
