Assistant Director of Activities The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing locations at River Valley (Poughkeepsie) and Pawling are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Activities Position Type: Full-Time - Pay Rate: $25.00/hour Schedule: 2 or 3 days at Pawling location 7am-3pm with 2 or 3 days at River Valley Poughkeepsie location. Monday-Friday position. The Grand Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Director of Activities to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. This is a key support role focused on assisting in the planning and execution of meaningful recreational programs that enhance the daily lives of our residents. Key Responsibilities:
- Support Recreation Programs: Assist in organizing, leading, and evaluating a wide range of engaging activities tailored to the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.
- Resident Engagement: Foster participation and build relationships with residents to ensure programs are inclusive and personalized.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Activities and interdisciplinary teams to maintain a consistent, high-quality recreation schedule.
- Program Implementation: Help manage logistics for events and outings, ensuring all necessary materials and permissions are in place.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback to help evaluate program success and areas for improvement.
