Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
• Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and confirm patient visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update care plans as necessary.
• Handle billing inquiries and process payments efficiently.
• Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow within the clinic.
• Utilize dental software (Dentrix, EasyDental) for scheduling and record management.
• Provide information to patients regarding treatment options and office policies.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental or medical office is required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Proficiency in using phone systems and dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Athenahealth).
• Knowledge of care plans and the ability to navigate clinic operations smoothly.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
