Location: Saratoga Springs, NY

Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)

Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours

Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Schedule: Alternating Weeks of 32 & 36 Hours

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Urgent Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment with a leading healthcare facility in Saratoga Springs, New York. This role is ideal for a nurse with a strong background in Urgent Care or Emergency Department settings who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Shift start times may vary between 7:00 AM and 9:30 AM based on department needs. Candidates must be flexible and willing to float to other areas based on skillset and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in an Urgent Care setting
• Perform patient triage, assessment, and monitoring
• Interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Document patient care using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of recent Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience preferred
• Active New York RN License required at time of submission
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Familiarity with Omnicell medication dispensing system
• Strong telemetry and rhythm interpretation skills
• Ability to pass rhythm interpretation examination

Required Certifications

• BLS Certification
• PALS Certification
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS Certification
• Triage experience
• Level 1 Trauma experience
