Agricultural Equipment Operator Maintenance & Crop
Halal Pastures, LLC (Rock Tavern, NY) seeks multiple Ag Equip. Operators to Drive and control equipment to support agricultural activities such as tilling soil; planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops; plant, cultivate, and harvest a variety of certified organic vegetables including cabbage, broccoli, carrots, greens, cucumber, eggplant, herbs, onions, peppers, and tomatoes. Participate in all aspects of crop production including soil preparation, greenhouse seeding, transplanting, weeding, pruning, watering, harvesting, washing, and marketing. Harvest full-grown crops requiring digging, picking, loading, and lifting. Load and transport harvested crops to market. Winter related duties include general winter maintenance; snow removal from pathways/roadways/roofs; repair/maintain equipment; construction and repair of farm buildings/structures; tractor maintenance, deliveries, winter farmers markets, wash storage vegetables, clean up fields/greenhouses for next season, seed inventory/crop planning for the following season. Requirements: 3 months exp. in farm labor or Ag Equip. Operation. Ability to lift/carry 60 lbs. Wage: $55,619.00/yr. ($26.74/hr.) Email resumes to [email protected]
