Lead Medical Secretary II
: Lead Medical Secretary II --(2401Y ) Description
Medical Imaging Lead Medical Secretary position will require the ability to interact with patients in person and via telephone. This position will also require the ability to manage the workflows and operations of the department and its staff. We are looking for an individual that brings positive energy to the work environment while exhibiting leadership qualities and the willingness to learn and take on a new endeavor.
QualificationsEducation/Experience:
- Associates degree preferred - in the absence of an associate's degree, High School diploma with 2 years medical practice experience will be considered.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a medical practice environment with exposure to all aspects of the role
- Supervisory experience preferred
Suggested Attributes/Skills & Abilities:
- Computer skills - word, excel, imaging PACS and medical records
- Communication skills - both to patients and coworkers
- Leadership skills - previous leadership roles are helpful but not required
Salary Range The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $18.00 to $25.00 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
