Attorney - Restructuring

Job description:

• Work primarily with attorneys in the firms New York office, as well as, with the restructuring attorneys in other offices.
• The primary practice will be Insolvency & Restructuring, which is within the Transactions, Tax, and Private Client practice group.
• The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of restructuring experience representing debtors, ad hoc and statutory committees, secured creditors, asset purchasers, and other constituents in connection with chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings, including cross border matters.
• Deposition and trial preparation experience are also helpful. Candidates must have a track record of academic and professional excellence, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and strong research, analysis, and writing capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a track record of insightful research and analysis, and persuasive writing abilities.
• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution is required. Admission to the New York Bar, active and in good standing, is also required

Qualifications:

A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.

Bar membership, active and in good standing, in New York is also required

The expected salary for this position is $235,000 - $310,000, depending on experience plus excellent benefits
