Dental Assistant

Outgoing and friendly Dental Assistant wanted to join our highly positive team. We are a well-established, one-doctor private practice in a beautiful office with state-of-the-art equipment including digital radio-graphs, intra-oral camera, and Dentrix software. We are looking for an experienced, mature and highly-skilled team player to help us care for our wonderful patients.

You must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant, and be knowledgeable in all types of procedures and infection control.

Experience with Dentrix software is a plus, but not required.

Some duties entail:

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
• Maintain an aseptic environment by following proper infection control protocols.
• Take digital dental X-rays while adhering to safety standards.
• Record and update patient medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with patient assessments as needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of dental anatomy to assist in treatment planning and patient education.
• Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care.

Office schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm with an hour lunch.
