Job Title: Med/Surg RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Orthopedic/Trauma Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: RN License (New York only) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only), ACLS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: Orthopedic experience, Telemetry experience Description: This position involves working on a unit specializing in orthopedic trauma and elective orthopedic surgical diagnoses. The unit is recognized for research and innovation in the field. Nurses will have many opportunities for education and professional growth. Teamwork is essential, and candidates should be enthusiastic and willing to collaborate. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are required. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Experience in a level 1 trauma facility is preferred.
