About the Role

We're looking for a dependable, creative part-time assistant to help with scripting, shooting, and editing short-form content across multiple TikTok Shop and branded projects. Strong instincts for what makes people care about a product are essential.

The role starts remote. If you’re based in or have a desire to move to New York City, that’s ideal—we are transiting the content team in March 2026, and the position has the potential to evolve into a hybrid setup with more hands‑on production.

What You’ll Do

• Write clear, engaging scripts for TikTok-style product videos
• Create shotlists
• Edit short-form content with clean pacing, tight cuts, and strong formatting
• Receive products and film UGC-style shots
• Organize footage, scripts, b-roll, and project files
• Build reference boards, gather inspiration clips, and support upcoming content planning
• Maintain smooth day-to-day creative workflows
• Once hybrid: accompany me on shoots, help with setup, lighting, and talent

What You Need

• 1+ years of experience in content creation
• Familiarity with TikTok trends, performance patterns, and storytelling styles
• Solid editing skills (CapCut or Premiere) with attention to detail
• Ability to script and concept content that feels natural, product-forward, and scroll-stopping
• Strong sense of what visual and narrative choices grab attention
• Organized, independent, and reliable with deadlines
• Bonus: experience in beauty, skincare, or other CPG content
