Our PayPal, Venmo, and Xoom products also make it safer and simpler for friends and family to transfer funds to each other. We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

PayPal, Inc. seeks Sr. Product Manager 1 - Technical in New York, NY
Job Duties: Own critical data platform products at PayPal such as data stores and compute lifecycles, analytical data products, middleware, frameworks and data pipelines. Lead product strategy and create system capabilities that application teams can leverage to have a direct impact on PayPal end-user experience. Design and develop software solutions using a strong background in distributed and large-scale database systems. Build a world class data platform for PayPal’s data engineers, data scientists and data analysts to accelerate top line and bottom-line growth for PayPal through data-driven decisions. Identify defects’ root cause to optimally narrow down incidents, lead test design and system architecture discussions. Ensure code quality and maintainability by evolving architecture and tech stack, refactoring, standards and improving build and test systems. Evangelize product roadmap internally and externally in informal and formal settings. Collaborate cross-functionally (with global BUs, engineering, and design) and develop strong relationships that help build trust with key partner teams. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Additional Job Description:
Salary: $182,957.00-287,100.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
