HCM Specialist -HRIS - Healthcare Organization
12-Month Temporary Assignment
Position Type: Temporary Assignment (12 months)
Schedule: Full-time, On-site, Monday - Friday, Business Hours
Pay Rate: $30 - $34/hour
Opportunity Overview
Madison Approach Staffing is recruiting an experienced HCM Specialist on behalf of our client, a leading healthcare organization. This 12-month assignment offers excellent exposure to HR systems and operations in a dynamic healthcare environment. You'll play a vital role in supporting HR information systems and ensuring seamless payroll processing for a large healthcare workforce.
What You'll Do
HR Systems & Data Management
- Process all HR transactions and data entry across multiple systems including HRIS, Time and Attendance, Payroll, and vendor platforms
- Review, enter, and process personnel changes with accuracy and timeliness
- Research and resolve incomplete or inaccurate information to maintain data integrity
- Generate standard HR reports as requested by leadership
Payroll Support & Coordination
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all HR transactions for payroll
- Partner with Payroll department to research and resolve timekeeping issues
- Monitor and address HR-related questions and concerns
Administrative Excellence
- Provide administrative support to the HCM team and assist with HR projects
- Maintain employee files in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
- Ensure records meet all federal, state, and accreditation body standards
- Manage both active and terminated personnel files
Process Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement in HCM operations
- Provide timely acknowledgment and resolution of requests and calls
- Improve first-line resolution rates through proactive problem-solving
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of HR and/or Payroll experience required
- Healthcare environment experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with HR processes, queries, and reporting
Education:
- Associate's Degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)
- ADP database structure, functions, and processes strongly preferred
- Experience with HRIS technology projects for system upgrades and enhancements a plus
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
