Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Schaffer Extended Care Center

We at EMPRO Staffing are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join the team at Schaffer Extended Care Center . Pay Rate:
$44/hour

Shift:
11:00 PM – 7:00 AM only

Requirements:
• Active New York State LPN license
• Availability for the 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift
• Every other weekend required (no exceptions)
• Strong clinical skills and effective communication
• Commitment to high-quality, resident-centered care

Pay Details:
• Pay period: Sunday–Saturday
• Weekly pay every Thursday via direct deposit

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing routine procedures.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Document patient care activities and communicate changes in patient status to the nursing team.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills.

Requirements

• Completed practical nursing program from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
