Job Title: Credentialing Specialist
Location: New York, NY
Type: Contract | 8 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 35–40 Hours/Week | 5 Days/Week
Pay Rate: Up to $1,254/Weekly (Based on $31/hr for 40 hours/week)
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Credentialing Specialist for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.
Responsibilities
- Process initial credentialing and reappointment applications
- Conduct credential audits and verification of provider documents
- Manage clinical privileging for physicians and allied health staff
- Maintain provider records using MDStaff credentialing software
- Ensure compliance with hospital bylaws and regulatory requirements
- Interpret credentialing rules, policies, and accreditation standards
- Coordinate with medical staff offices and internal departments
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy in credentialing systems
- Support audits and regulatory review processes
Qualifications
- Experience in credentialing, provider enrollment, or healthcare administration
- Strong understanding of audit processes and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with healthcare credentialing workflows preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage sensitive provider data confidentially
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Experience with MDStaff credentialing system preferred
