KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build the plan - Define how we grow across all channels
Drive demand - Launch campaigns that bring in customers, not just clicks
Get your hands dirty - Ads, email, content, promos, whatever it takes
Created shared strategies - Align our various businesses and platforms to drive collective momentum
Own the numbers – Drive growth and marketing ROI by maximizing lean budgets
Fix what’s broken – If something isn’t working, you figure it out and adjust with urgency
Support sales – Give teams what they need to close and convert
Build a small, strong team – Hire, mentor, and keep things moving
Protect the brand – Position products, launches, ads and messaging in a way that honors the brand and drives demand
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Success in growing a business, not just managing campaigns
Strong experience in product and brand marketing
You’re comfortable switching between strategy and execution daily. You can build it, but you can also execute it yourself when needed.
Strong understanding of retail, wholesale, and/or e-commerce (bonus if you’ve done all three!)
Strong business instincts to think in terms of revenue, margins, and ROI, not just marketing metrics including the ability to manage a marketing budget.
Comfortable using data to make decisions without overanalyzing
You don’t wait for perfect conditions; you test, learn, and move
Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
Experience in a premium, lifestyle, or specialty food brand where aesthetic vibe and data-driven performance were treated as inseparable. If you’ve worked in specialty coffee, that is a huge plus!
LOCATION
Hybrid work arrangement (mix of office and work from home)
Based in Chicago, New York City, or Los Angeles (with a preference for Chicago)
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear.
Periodic presence at events and shows, including the ability to carry boxes, set up a booth, and stand for prolonged periods of time.
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
At times, may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding).
Periodic travel (nights and weekends) is required.

COMPENSATION
To counter pay inequality and uphold internal parity, we are publicizing salary information for this role. This is also required by multiple state laws in which we operate. From a candidate’s perspective, our salary range takes into account a number of factors, including skill sets, experience, education and the training needed for the role. From a company perspective, it includes organizational needs, budgets and internal equity considerations. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of our range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. We are honest and open about our pay and hope that you will be, too, to avoid miscommunication or frustration at the offer stage.
The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 annually
Annual Bonus based on company performance
