Job Opportunity: Material Handler
Material Handler
We are pursuing a Material Handler to join our team in Montgomery, NY. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials in and out of our facility.This is a full-time position with a starting pay rate of $16 per hour. Candidates should have practice in material handling or a related field, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Material Handler Qualifications required
»High school diploma or equivalent
»Previous practice in material handling or a related field
» capability to operate forklifts and other power equipment
»Basic math expertise and capability to read and interpret instructions
»Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
» capability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
Material Handler Responsibilities include:
»Moving materials to and from storage areas using manual and power equipment
»Performing inventory counts and maintaining accurate records
»Operating machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks
»Loading and unloading materials onto trucks and other vehicles
»Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
