OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Underwriter Associate to join our team at RPS. In this role, you will support the underwriting process by evaluating risks, assisting with policy issuance, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines. How you'll make an impact- Assist underwriters in evaluating and analyzing risks for new and renewal business.
- Prepare and process insurance quotes, binders, and policies in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with brokers, agents, and internal teams to gather necessary information for underwriting decisions.
- Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all underwriting activities.
- Provide exceptional service to clients and partners by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and product knowledge to support underwriting decisions.
Required: Bachelor's degree, no experience required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.

Compensation and benefitsWe offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
